Isotropic Books Agent is internal software for Isotropic Solutions, Inc. It connects to one QuickBooks Online company: ours. If you're not Isotropic staff, there's nothing to connect here.
We don't send connection links
Isotropic doesn't send consent links or reconnection requests by email or chat, and nobody here will ever ask you to approve access from a message.
If a message asks you to reconnect this application, or a QuickBooks consent screen appears that you didn't start yourself, it didn't come from us. Decline it and forward the message to admin@isotrp.com.
Who can connect it
A QuickBooks admin on the Isotropic Solutions company. Connecting requires signing in to QuickBooks and granting access, so only someone with admin rights on that company can do it.
How connecting works
An Isotropic administrator starts the connection from inside our own environment. Consent then happens on a screen hosted by QuickBooks, where the administrator signs in and approves access, and QuickBooks issues the credentials to the application directly.
The service has no login page and no public endpoint. There's nothing here for anyone outside the company to sign in to, and no link that grants access.
Reconnecting
Access has to be re-established occasionally, for instance after it's revoked or after a stretch without use. Reconnecting works the same way as connecting the first time, and it starts the same way: internally, by an administrator.
Nothing is lost by reconnecting. It replaces the stored credentials, and the accounting records are untouched.
